She/He designs and develops information systems, such as computer hardware, operating systems, software and networks. She/he chooses the tools and technologies that will be used and supervises their implementation.

She/He analyzes the company’s existing information system, and then transforms user expectations into IT solutions. This is how his work as an architect begins. She/he breaks down and organizes information before making choices in terms of hardware, software or software packages. Finally, she/he defines the deployment or integration plan, which must be scrupulously followed by the developers and integrators of whom she/he is the manager.
