The CTO oversees technical innovation and the deployment of technologies adapted to the development and efficiency of a company’s activities.

Often present in large corporate groups, but also in start-ups, he/she studies all of the technical development possibilities of a company. She/He defines the deployment strategy for innovative projects, and this involvement gives her/him an important influence in the overall decision-making of the company. It is for this reason that he/she can often be asked to sit on the management committee.
